The achievement of making fire has been one of the most important milestones in human evolution. Due to it, hominids prolonged the hours of light, they could protect themselves from predators, they achieved to warm themselves in the coldest weather and they became able to cook the food. Furthermore, it allowed the people gathering around the fireplace and  sharing their experiences.

In this activity you will learn how to make fire like it was made in prehistoric times, without any lighter or matches. It is more difficult than it seems. Will you achieve it?
